star festival

Hey guys!!

you know what, today is 7th July.....yeah, it's star festival!! we call it Tanabata!

Unfortunately, it seems reain today

but...

why don't you look up at the sky!???

What is your wish!????

I WILL WISH ON A STAR tonight even if I would not see the satrs clearly.....haha :D

*here is a story of star festival*

The star festival originate from Chinese legend of two bright stars, Altair and Vega.

Vega, a weaving girl and Altair, cowherd boy, loved each other.

They had so much fun being together and the stop working hard.

The king got angry and separated them by the big river, Milky way.

He allowed them to meet once a year across the Milky way only on the night of 7th July.

One that day, people decorate bamboo branches with pepar strips and ornaments to celebrate their reunion. It is believed that a wish comes true when you write your wish on the pepar strips and hang them on bamboo.

by the way, do you know the food related this star festival?

It's "thin wheat noodles"(so-men)!!!!

Why thin wheat noodle??

Because Vega was famous for good weaving girl and thin wheat noodle is look like weave.

That is why people hope they can weave well like her.

also, this tradition is famous as well, if you have thin wheat noodle, you would not get sirious sick during hot summer.

This summer is going to be very hot!!! so, Why don' you have thin weat noodle!?

I think is cool food for the summer!!! :D

Have a nice star festival!!!! ☆
