Dog days

Hi there!

Do you know the meaning, "Dog days"?

It means hottest days in the summer..... xD

What do you usually do when it's very hot??

Stay at your house? shopping at cool place?eating ice cream?

umm.....as you know, recently it's crazy hot days.....

By the way, do you know the meal which is famous in the summer?

It's "eel" !!

What is eel?

*eel is a long thin fish that looks like a snake and can be eaten.......

.....huh, do you get it?? we call it UNAGI!!!!! :D

The day of the ox, which is named after one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac.

Japanese people have a custom of eating eel on the day of the ox in midsummer in order to survive the hottest season!!!

Una-jyu:(a bowl of rice with grilled eel on it)

See, this looks so-so-so-so delicious, huh? xD

It makes me hungry!!!!

I wanna eat this but it's usually expensive...... :(

When i was in hometown, my family used to take me to UNAGI restaurant.

but now i am in Chiba and poor student.

so, i guess i cannot eat it..... :(

.....well, i might get it at supermarket though!hahaha xD

Before you are tired of this hot heat days, please try to have eel! :)
